R4D10HEAD
Stealth, except you are the loudest thing in the room. Move and the whole floor hears you; stand still and you go blind. Every route is a bet.
The game
R4D10HEAD is a stealth game with prop-hunt style interactions. Our little robot cannot help being a nuisance: movement is all or nothing, full speed at full volume, and standing still means going blind while it recharges. Slip past the CORPORATION's guards and cameras, and find the way out.
Inverted stealth
Classic stealth hands you tools to be quiet. R4D10HEAD takes them away. The core loop trades information for mobility: while you move you are deafeningly loud but you can see; while you stop you are safe but blind. That single inversion drives every other decision. Guards react to noise you cannot avoid making, so the skill is when to be loud, not how to stay silent.
Level design
- Guard and camera placement built around readable patrol rhythms a player can learn while blind.
- Prop-interaction spots that reward planning a route before committing to the noise.
- Escalating spaces: teaching rooms first, then layered patrols where routes have to be chained.
